Plans, Movies and Mustaches.

I am big on making plans. Probably one of my favorite things to do. Whatever the situation is, I have got to plan. Shopping? Plan. Friends day out? Plan. Exams timetable? Plan. Decorating my boring old cupboard? Plan. I even used to have wee little colorful notebooks for jotting down my not-so-spontaneous plans, am I glad I am over those! Anyway mostly at the end of the day I feel kind of let down because things never go as you plan. My imagination has never heard of misfortunes, or if it has it tends to forget, but in reality they are bound to happen now and then. Also, I am super-lazy ass person. After spending like 13 hours on an awesome daydream, I do nothing. I get bored. So I have decided no more planning, for time being, at least.

Anyway.

Plans gone wrong.

Bollywood always fools me. After 'almost' every movie I see I say 'No way I am going to watch another bollywood movie. No, no, no, no'. Then a month later everyone's talking about this new movie which is like the most amazing movie ever and I just have to watch it. Sure, Bollywood has produced some great movies like Fashion, Dil chahta hai and Wake up, Sid (and of course the cheesiest Kuch kuch hota hai that I cannot help but love it) and many others so no offence.

Two months ago Zindagi na Milegi Dobara fooled me. Trailer was nice enough. The actual movie? It was a sheer wastage of time. Yes, it had some good one-liners, Hrithik Roshan looked hot (Katrina Kaif for some?) and the songs weren't too bad. Rest of it lingered for too long on how beautiful the world is (why not listen to Louise Armstrong's great song?), confront our fears and dance. They tried too hard to appear cool. I might even have actually liked it if the ending wasn't so bizarre -_- <-- JK, I wouldn't like it then either. And how on earth can you compare it with Dil chahta hai? It made an instant connection. ZNMD didn't. Okay. 

Last week, God, I wasted precious 3 hours of my fabulous life on Mausam. Some of my friends were like ooOooo, it's going to be BEST MOVIE EVER because Shahid Kapoor looked so sexy in mustache <-- IDK about that. I am not a fan of moustaches. They loved it. It was even worse than ZNMD. It is a drag. Imagine When Harry Met Sally, The Notebook and all those romantic movies that make you awww with Indian cheese masala. Sadly I didn't feel a thing. There was no chemistry between the leads, the length of the movie made me want to pull my hair out and cry, the real life incidents somehow managed to affect the main characters every single time, how unfortunate can you get? The Ferris wheel scene was the last straw. I was like What the hell. Shahid Kapoor with his numb arm suddenly turned into superhero. Rajinikanth is ashamed <-- and very mad, too. Keep your mustaches on. 

I want to babble about other awful movies like pyaar ka punchnama that potrayed the girls as monsters eating your heart and brain (you bad bad movie director! Most girls are normal, not alienated bitches) but maybe later.

Seriously I am NEVER going to watch another Bollywood movie. That's my plan

Sparkling Sullen and Freaky Emma

So I downloaded Aisha and Vampires Suck last night. Happily, I lied down on my cushions.. bag of chips all ready to be eaten sat beside me. I decided to watch Vampires Suck first. It is a vampire spoof film based on the Twilight film series. (I had this feeling Aisha would be more fun, I saved the best for the last). I was disappointed, so very much.

Erm..

The Reasons you should watch Vampires Suck:

Edward Sullen wasn't as gay as Edward Cullen.
Jacob was hotter. He wasn't a wolf but a cute little ugly puppy
Bella was Becca
It has Vulgar comedy (some people are into Vulgar, you know)

Well. That's all about it. Yes, am not a good movie reviewer. Still you just know it when you see a good movie. Only Jennifer did some good in Vampires Suck. Rest of it sucks, big time.

Coming to Aisha.. Have you guys seen good old Clueless? It was a total copy of it. Desi version *dead* They didn't even try to change most of the the dialogues! I like Abhay Deol *crushed* there wasn't much of him in the movie =| *disappointments and disappointments*

Who says it is a copy of Emma? More important.. Why?? Oo

Indian movies are hardly worth watching these days. I wish they would make more like Wake Up Sid, Dev d and Fashion (now those were some fun movies!).

Tonight am going to waste some more time (downloading Salt).

Went shopping today. Bought cute little earrings and some nail colors (green, gray and peach). Now all I want is some eyeshades.. and that will be it!

Am not into writing stories and poem these days.. I wonder why =o

The Evil Inside

No matter how nice and pleasant we appear we all do have an evil streak in us. Humans are not perfect. I guess it is the cause of violence and cruelty in our world. The tangible strong force is not external, it is in our minds, when there is light, there are shadows too. Everything has to be balanced. But, hey, we choose our own thoughts. Anybody can plunge a knife in someone's heart (OMG), however, what set us apart is our choices. We can do it, but we choose not to. Henry Jekyll decided to suppress his evilness and when given the chance he showed it in the form of Mr. Hyde (all about it is here). Evil thoughts are manifested by us, by believing in evil you actually create it (Edgar Cayce)

Yes, you might not agree, but this is what I believe. Even the nicest person in the whole world can be pissed off about something and lose his temper. It depends on our control. As they say "When anger rises, think of the consequences"

Let's try to ignore the guy on our left shoulder =) and kill him slowly =o ... think good, good follows. Think evil, evil follows.

Going to call my friend and then gonna watch There's Something About Mary =) I like Cameron Diaz (she looks a bit like Donald Duck O.o)

iLife

I wrote this last night, but thanks to load shedding couldn't post!


Days are passing in a blur. Like Wooooosh! I wake up, take a shower, get ready for university, take tea there (sometimes with cookies), then classes/tutorials/labs/whatever.. then coming back home.. tweet n lunch.. a long nap.. waking up.. tweet n tea.. ignoring books.. tweet n dinner.. a movie or a good book and sleep. All so same. It bugs me some days, gets on my nerves, stupid questions come to my mind.. Am i wasting my time? Shouldn't i be going places and enjoying life? Why am i letting myself stuck in one place for years? But I guess I will have go through it all to be happy at last! I won't be satisfied if I ditched my studies and started having fun. I will forget what fun is then. Special days come by now and then.. a quiet day with my family, a hyper day with my friends, having 'me' time.. they keep me going =]

Confused? Good.


Am watching Before Sunrise, it's a nice movie if a little slow but will sure make you smile! An year ago, movies weren't just my thing, I rarely bothered to watch, it was too much but God knows what hit me, now am one of those movie freak, ask me about a movie and I'll go on and on! Sorry but no horror movies, I don't watch them. Give me creeps and nightmares. I go paranoid. Do i see a smirk?

Oho, light gone. Load shedding rocks. No, it sucks actually. We, Pakistanis, know that.

Yesterday was one of those days when you think, really think about your life and come to no conclusion!
